SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES
- 3 HOUR THEORY SESSION
- a) Classification of Fire
- b) Explanation of capabilities and limitations of extinguishers
- c) Identifying different types of Fire Extinguishers
- d) Correct use of Fire Extinguishers
- e) Assessing Risks within the workplace
- f) Spotting and Reporting Hazards within the workplace
- g) The appropriate action in the event of a fire
- h) Ensuring a full and safe evacuation in your workplace
- i) Fire safety equipment maintenance schedules
- 1 HOUR PRACTICAL SESSION
- a. Hands‐on use of fire extinguishers with real life fire scenarios, using our environmentally friendly fire equipment when permitted and agreed.
- b. Practice Fire Action Routines
- c. Attendees Use DCP, Foam, Water and CO2 Extinguishers on Real Fires
- d. Foam Extinguisher Demonstration
- e. Fire Blanket Demonstration
